I am a Neuroscience major working in the IHC group of the Edwards Lab, where our focus is extracting, staining, and imaging neural tissue. Through imaging and cell quantification, we hope to understand abnormal brain states like addiction and the neural connections that lead to them.
Outside of the lab, I work as an EMT with BYU EMS and enjoy the fast-paced and diverse environment of emergency medicine. I plan on attending medical school after graduating from BYU and hope that my experience with the Edwards Lab and EMS will help me become a better scientist and caregiver.
