I am double majoring in PDBIO and Portuguese Studies. My academic interests revolve around embryology and gene regulation. In the Hill Lab, I work on a CRISPR screen that is looking to identify novel genes in heart formation. I am considering an MD/PhD program and look forward to working with people with birth defects. Outside of school, my interests include sports, bird watching, and Portuguese literature.
