Professorial Faculty (CELL)
The Department of Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University (https://cell.byu.edu) announces two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions. One position is in cell biology/physiology; the other is in neuroscience. Applicants should have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) and post-doctoral experience in cell biology, physiology, neuroscience, or related discipline. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a high potential for establishing an independent, externally funded research program, and a desire to work collaboratively in an environment of faith and devotion to Jesus Christ. Professional Faculty (CELL Teaching and Lab Coordination)
The Department of Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track professional (teaching and lab coordination) faculty position. Primary responsibilities are undergraduate instruction in physiology, anatomy, and cell biology courses and coordination of physiology teaching labs. The successful candidate will have a PhD in cell biology, physiology, or related field and a record of excellent teaching in lecture and lab courses. Additional responsibilities include mentoring undergraduate students and participating in citizenship and administrative duties of the department. Traditional research scholarship is not a requirement of this position. The application period closes on September 30, 2026.
